Over the past seven years, WeAreTechWomen’s Women in Tech conference and summit events have helped thousands of female technologists upskill and grow their networks, this year will be no different. WeAreTechWomen have already launched our One Tech World Virtual conference on 27 April and are now proud to launch our brand new, in person WeAreTech Festival, which will take place at Etc Venues, Bishopsgate, London on 16 June 2023.
The agenda for our WeAreTech Festival will be solely focussed on the career progression of Women in Tech. We are expecting over 350 attendees and thousands to join us online. Back in 2022, and at our Level Up Summit we asked the question to our community, “What is holding women back in tech?” We also hosted a number of focus groups with our members to identify the key skills women felt they needed in order to progress in the profession. We took our research and all of the feedback from our focus sessions to create the festivals agenda. Our plan is to deliver what women in the industry said they needed in order to get ahead and to use world class speakers and experts to help our attendees achieve those goals.
Welcome to the WeAreTech Festival – an event dedicated to empowering women in technology. The festival brings together women from diverse backgrounds and experiences to share knowledge, inspire one another, and create new opportunities for growth and advancement in the tech industry.
The festival will showcase a number of incredible keynote speakers who have made a significant impact in their industries. These amazing individuals will be sharing their personal experiences and strategies for success, giving attendees valuable insights into effective leadership practices. There will be interactive panels, discussion, and ample opportunities to network in our market place and via our speed networking and speed mentoring sessions throughout the day.
The Festival content will cover a number of topics identified in our 2022 research, “What is Holding Back Women in Tech?” It will also focus on the areas highlighted by participants of our Level Up summit in 2022.
Our guests will join us to:
